Support the NEK Collaborative

As an organization rooted in place, we know other regional entities understand what makes the NEK so special, yet the unique economic and social challenges that come with our rural nature. The region faces challenges so significant that the federal government designated the Kingdom as a Rural Economic Area Partnership, REAP Zone. The NEK Collaborative houses this agreement with USDA Rural Development as our role is to stay closely connected to regional needs and elevate them. Through neutral, nonpartisan convenings, we translate lived experience into shared priorities and actionable targets for investment.

In November 2025, we convened business, nonprofit, government, and community leaders at the annual NEK Together Conference. Key priorities emerged: housing, healthcare, affordability, education, flood and climate resilience, which now guide our work and shaped NEK Day at the Statehouse in January 2026.

Support from regional organizations makes this work possible. Your tax-deductible contribution will help us convene stakeholders, amplify shared priorities, and advocate for resources our communities and economy need to thrive. By partnering with the NEK Collaborative you would be recognized as a regional leader committed to the Kingdom.
