Food Drive

Bring your food items to NEK Together for NEK Community Action’s Island Pond Food Shelf.

Right now, many families in our area are facing food insecurity. Your contribution to our food drive can make a real difference. We're collecting non-perishable food items to help restock local food pantries and provide meals for those in need. The best items to donate are:

Peanut butter
Jelly
Canned Chicken and Tuna
Cooking oils
Shelf-stable milk (powdered or liquid)
Grains and pastas
Sauces - Marinara, alfredo, pesto
Flour, sugar, spices
Soups

Call for Session Proposals

Due September 4th

We are seeking engaging 60-minute breakout sessions to be hosted during a mid-morning or afternoon time slot. Sessions should showcase innovative ideas, successful partnerships, practical tools, and collaborative approaches to addressing the NEK's opportunities and challenges. We encourage proposals that highlight regional priorities, strengthen key economic and community sectors, share lessons learned, and inspire action.
