Background Information on the NEK Collaborative

The Collaborative applied to the US Department of Agriculture (USDA) for a REAP designation which was approved in November, 2000. The designation has since been re-approved. Having this designation gives weight when Northeast Kingdom organizations and communities apply to various federal agencies for grants.
